HIRING OF LEGAL CONSULTANT
The Intellectual Property
Organization of Pakistan (IPO-Pakistan) is an autonomous body working under the
administrative control of the Ministry of Commerce. The major functions of the
organization are as under:
Administer and
coordinate all Government systems for protection and strengthening of
Intellectual Property (IP);
Manage all IP
offices in the country;
Create
awareness about IP Rights;
Advise the
Federal Government on IP Policy;
Ensure
effective enforcement of IP rights through designated IPR Enforcement Agencies
(Police, FIA, and Pakistan Customs)
In this regard, IPO-Pakistan intends to hire the services of
a Legal Consultant on contract basis as per the details given below:

Qualification & Experience
LL.M in Intellectual Property Law from a renowned 01 year
extendable international university and Minimum of ten (10) as per requirement
years' experience as a practicing lawyer preferably
in the High Court.
The appointment will purely be on contract basis for 1 year.
Filled RFP along with copies of educational/ experience
certificates/degrees and copy of CNIC may be forwarded to this office on the
following address within 15 days of publication of this advertisement.
IPO-Pakistan reserves the right to cancel the hiring process
at any stage as per rules.
Concealment of facts and any direct or in-direct pressure
for hiring would lead to the disqualification of the candidates. If any
candidate found ineligible, he/ she will be disqualified at any stage of the
recruitment process.
On the basis of merit, only eligible and shortlisted
candidates will provisionally be called for interview. TA/DA will be paid for
appearing in the interview.
